Pat Ervin
Running man, racing fan, Metallica floormats in the minivan.
Some folks believe life is filled with contradictions. Pat just believes in keeping an open head and driving hard at what fulfills you. Nashvillian by birth and Georgian by marriage, Pat brings 25 years of zest for all things media to every relationship.
After a decade at one of the Southland’s premiere rock radio stations, Dick Broadcasting’s 103-KDF (Nashville), Pat departed his gig as Director of Promotions for another 100 kilowatt blowtorch, Atlanta’s 96 Rock. The next four years included stints as Marketing Director and Program Director. 1998 brought a ride on America’s first great internet bubble at Qwest Digital Media as field marketing manager, and an adept segue three years later to Account Management at Cox’s WSB-TV, where he brought his streetwise smarts and quick energies to the automotive and retail verticals for nearly a decade. Pat has helped clients such as Coca-Cola, Rooms To Go, Nalley Automotive, and the North Georgia Honda Dealers with successful campaigns on both the TV and new media side of WSB.
Pat co-founded First Fruit Media with partner Steve, and a pair of passions he believes are too often viewed as contradictory in the marketing biz: getting great client results, and giving back. That’s why 10% of First Fruit Media profits go to help communities just like yours.
Says Pat, lacing up his Adidas for another 4:30 AM run in the Georgia heat: “Success is not an accident.” This, from the man who dumped an entire cup of coffee on the sales managers cream-colored Armani the first day of the 96 Rock gig. Contradictions again.
If one needs further evidence that he is seldom constrained by stereotypes, take a ride with Pat and his boys, Max and Seth to the racetrack or a weekend camping expedition. You’ll be ridin’ the only Honda Odyssey rockin’ the Intimidator’s Number 3 on the front and Metallica mats in the floor.
But set your alarm, baby: they hit the road early.
